2013: Cluj, Romania
The 19th International Conference of the EBCC, Bird Numbers 2013, was held in Cluj, Romania, between the 17th to 21st of September 2013.

Bird Numbers 2013 was organized jointly by Babes-Bolyai University, the Romanian Ornithological Society (BirdLife Romania), and the Milvus Group – Bird and Nature Protection Society. Attended by almost 200 people from 44 countries and three continents, talks covered a wide range of topics from bird monitoring results, recent atlas projects, new developments in citizen science, biodiversity indicators, spatial modelling other analytical techniques, causes of changes in bird populations, and a special session on waterbird monitoring.

2010: Cáceres, Spain
18th International Conference of the EBCC, Bird Numbers 2010: Monitoring, indicators, and targets was held in Cáceres, Spain, between the 22nd to 26th of March 2010.

2007: Chiavenna, Italy
17th International Conference of the EBCC, Bird Numbers 2007: Monitoring for Conservation and Management, was held in Chiavenna, Italy, between the 17th to 22nd of April 2007.

2004: Kayseri, Turkey
16th International Conference of the EBCC, Bird Numbers 2004: Monitoring in a Changing Europe, was held in Kayseri (Erciyes University Campus), Turkey, between the 6th to 11th of September 2004. Altogether, 126 participants from 24 countries presented more than 60 talks and 20 posters at the conference. At the end of the conference, a declaration on the future of bird monitoring and conservation was made. You may read the conclusions here. Field trips included Mount Erciyes, Sultan Marshes, Tuzla Lake, and Cappadocia. An abstract book (here in pdf) has been published.

The proceedings were published as Volume 24 of the Revista Catalan d´Ornitologia.
