EBCC Small Grant Fund for Monitoring

EBCC is launching a Small Grant Fund intending to support national bird monitoring activities by EBCC partner organisations in low- and middle-income countries in Europe.

There is a clear geographical bias in bird monitoring activities in Europe, and gaps in monitoring data still exist. The EBCC Board has identified the development of monitoring schemes in these countries and regions as a key activity for the coming years. However, such activities are likely to fail without the possibility of providing small amounts of funding. Therefore, the EBCC is setting up the EBCC Small Grant Fund (SGF).

The fund aims to support national bird monitoring activities by EBCC partner organisations in Europe’s low- and middle-income countries.
