Submit abstracts for the 22nd EBCC conference

We are happy, that many people have already shown their interest in the next EBCC conference from 4 to 8 April 2022 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Herewith we would like to invite you to submit your abstracts.

The closing date for submitting abstracts for oral presentations is 15 October 2021 (posters 31 December 2021). You find details about how to submit abstracts here: www.ebcc2022.ch/submissions.

Despite the uncertainties regarding the Covid-19 pandemic we encourage participants to register and submit abstracts. No payments are necessary at this stage. Currently, we are hopeful that the conference will be ‘in-person’ as planned. In case a conference with a physical presence will not be possible, the Local Organising Committee will, together with the EBCC board, look for alternatives, most likely in the form of an online event.

The 22nd Conference of the European Bird Census Council (EBCC), called Bird Numbers 2022 “Beyond the Atlas: challenges and opportunities” will be held from 4 to 8 April 2022 in the city of Lucerne, Switzerland. The conference is organised by the Swiss Ornithological Institute in Sempach. We encourage you to visit the conference website from time to time (www.ebcc2022.ch) or to follow us on Twitter (https://twitter.com/ebcc2022). More information on excursions, low-cost accommodation and the possibility to apply for travel grants will be provided on the website over the next months.
